Urgent message from the S2 Institute: As many of you are aware there is a nationwide shortage of ammunition. The S2 Institute has always prided itself on providing quality affordable training for all our students. In the very near future we will be forced to add a surcharge for ammunition to all our firearms classes. As the cost of ammunition climbs and the availability falls we will be forced to make this adjustment. The amount of the surcharge will depend on the market availability of ammunition. In addition we will not be able to accept students at re-qualification who have not pre-registered.

We hope the issues causing this will be resolved in the near future.

UPDATE: As of April 19th, all G classes, Requalification's and advanced firearms classes will require a surcharge of 25.00 per student. This fee is in addition to your class registration. We regret the need for this surcharge however our hands are tied due to the current ammunition shortage.

As an alternative to paying the surcharge, students may bring their own ammunition to the range. If you supply your own ammunition the surcharge will be waived. The ammunition you bring must comply with FS 493.

We at S2 hope this is a short lived issue and will remove the surcharge as soon as the market permits. Thank you for your patience and support. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call the school directly at 727-461-0066.
