Bram Frank is S2's instructor for advanced edged weapons and special certification courses for the Gunting and
CRMIPT control tool. Mr. Frank is known worldwide for his contributions in improving edged weapon tactics and his design of tactical folding knives and less-lethal control tools, such as the CRMIPT (Close Range Medium ImPact Tool).
With over 37 years experience in the martial arts, Bram has been inducted into several Martial Arts Halls of Fame. Mr. Frank's dedication and service has also won him numerous awards as a martial arts instructor. For his design of the Spyderco Gunting, the World Head of the Soke Councilship has called it the "Most Innovative Weapon of the Millennium."
Bram spends a lot of time on the road and has trained United States, Russian, and Isreali law enforcement and civilians in the use of edged weapons and control tactics/tools.

October 2007 Bram has been named
Weapons Instructor of the Year by Black Belt Magazine.
