The Defensive Edged Weapons course provides essential skills for surviving a bladed weapon encounter. This intense one-day program examines the hidden knife culture in the U.S. and presents simple yet highly effective techniques for defense during an assault. This course also examines the role of a knife as a last-resort defensive weapon for officers or as a primary personal weapon.

In addition to conventional knife applications, this course introduces Bram Frank's CRMIPT (Close Range Medium ImPact Tool) and the live blade version of the CRIMPT, the Gunting. Many have called the CRMIPT the "Most Innovative Weapon of the Millennium".
