Chemicals & Agents of Biological Origin (CABO)
Unfortunately, very few WMD training programs for emergency responders provide a comprehensive, detailed, and rational understanding of the chemical and biological threat. The S2 Chemicals and Agents of Biological Origin course is designed to fill this critical gap in responder training. In this two-day course, former UNMOVIC inspector Dr. Harvey J. McGeorge provides students with a detailed analysis of potential chemical and biological agents and a thorough understanding of agent dissemination and employment scenarios. This program picks up where most other programs leave off, and surveys a wide spectrum of potential agents and employment methods that may be used by terrorists in attacking civilian targets.
Based on the instructor's decades of hands-on experience in working with CB agents and munitions, the S2 CABO course also provides a wealth of insight on issues ranging from incident management to personal protective measures.
Topics include:
Characteristics of CB Threats • CB Agent Characteristics • Dissemination Factors • Dissemination Techniques • Employment Concepts • Critical Response Issues
