Terri K. Wonder is the S2 Institute’s instructor for courses on Islamist Extremism, Extremist Ideology, and History of Terrorism. In addition to her status as an adjunct instructor for S2, Dr. Wonder is also employed by the S2 Institute as a staff research specialist, focusing on the areas of curriculum development and teaching.

Dr. Wonder’s doctoral research "Re-Islamization in Higher Education from Above and Below: The University of South Florida and Its Global Contexts" has received high praise in the field of counter-terrorism.  She has presented her Ph.D. research findings and related research project findings before colleagues at The National Intelligence Conference and Exposition (2006), The Florida Intelligence Unit (2006), The Intelligence Summit (2007), and the US Army Anti-Terrorism Conference (2008).  

Dr. Wonder currently is drafting a monograph about her most recent research, "Mosque Leadership Coups in America and Abroad", in which she stages and compares the infiltration of mosques to both classic military coups and business infiltration by organized criminal syndicates.  She also has published several peer-reviewed papers about problems with faith-based education reform in the United States and about the Brown v. Board of Education legacy.
