Rod Russell, NREMT, CPS
Program Director
Rod Russell, a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, is S2 Institute’s program director and primary instructor for tactical medical and first responder courses. In addition to being a member of the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), Mr. Russell is a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor for the American Heart Association. Mr. Russell has received extensive training in trauma, medical, advanced airway, Geriatric Care (GEMS), Pediatric Care (PEPP), I.V. maintenance, and Glucometer.
Mr. Russell is a graduate of the ESI Advanced Executive Protection Program and serves as Critical Intervention Services’ program coordinator for natural disaster response. His security training and experience are evident in the tactical considerations and real life stories he presents in his courses for Emergency Medical Response, First Responders, Tactical Medical, and CPR-AED certification.
