Mr. DeBatto, S2’s primary instructor for counterintelligence and operations security, is a former US Army Counterintelligence Agent with over 20 years experience in law enforcement and intelligence operations. Prior to joining S2, Mr. DeBatto was a Tactical HUMINT Team (THT) Leader in Iraq. Some other highlights of Mr. DeBatto’s previous experience has included service as an instructor for the U.S Army’s Counterintelligence Agent (MOS 97B) Course at Ft. Devons, MA and Voice Interceptor in Germany. Mr. DeBatto has also served as a civilian Police Officer in Yuma, AZ and Havervill, MA.

Mr. DeBatto is a regular guest expert on cable TV and radio news programs issues on related  to counterintelligence and domestic politics in Iraq. Mr. DeBatto is also the Co-author of a four-part “CI” book series published by Warner Books. His political analysis and commentary has appeared in Salon, Vanity Fair, American Prospect, and Defense Watch.
